ASUS Eee PC X101 Thin With Software From the British Council

ASUS develops super-slim netbook with a design with a choice of Windows operating system or Meego. The sales package includes software for learning the English language developed by the British Council. Oh yes the price is not up to Rp. 2jt.
Slim and Lightweight Design

Taiwan ASUS introduces the ASUS EeePC models and X101H X101, the latest model with a thickness of 6.17 mm and a starting weight of 920gr (X101 with SSD). This model is even thinner than the EeePC 1008 Seashell model which has a thickness of 18-25.7 mm.

ASUS develop this netbook to be our friend to go online and learn the language. Software included is from the British Home Language Center of development of the British Council and a team of Home Language Training (ELT).

Meego operating system that is included on this netbook is an open source Linux project that is designed to run on netbooks, smartphones (ie. Nokia), the navigation computer equipment in a moving vehicle, TV, until the tablet. This software can be downloaded at https://meego.com. In the operating system already contained Meego special applications to access Facebook, Twitter, Google Chromium browser, Internet applications asus @ vibe, ASUS AppStore, and DropBox online file storage facility.

Simple hardware

This model comes with 2 pieces of simple completeness USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0, 0.3 MP Webcam, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, and a MicroSD memory card slot. Model X101 comes with 8GB of SSD that can only run Meego, whereas X101H models come with a regular hard disk so that it can run the Windows operating system.

By selecting the X101 with the SSD model then we can enjoy instant-on operating systems such as on a tablet with no need to fear the hard disk is damaged by shocks.
