Asus Eee Pad Transformer

Products tablet is one of the most difficult devices sold & price factor plays the most important to its appeal. The lower the price offered (without offering at a price too low, so that it becomes questionable quality) is also increasingly interested consumers to buy products such tablets.

In the price range of $ 400 with a capacity of 16 GB and wifi, Asus eee Transformer Pad is the cheapest available Honeycomb tablet on the market, even $ 100 cheaper than the iPad 2 with the most minimal features. But at the offering price so, whether the tablet is feasible to glance a user?

In terms of size, this tablet has a larger display size of the tablets in general with a screen size of 10.7 inches with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. As a result of this tablet is more comfortable in the hand in landscape orientation.

Too bad angles on this tablet made is not curved like in general, so that when used in a long time was a little disturbing.

At first glance, the quality of the tablet is quite solid and good looks + texture like snake skin design provides a better handheld power of 2 which seems to suppose iPad easily slip from our grip.
Speakers this product is located on the right and left. 1.2 megapixel camera and a 5 megapixel located in the middle of the top.
On the right side there is a slot for microSD cards, a mini-HDMI, microphone and headphone jacks. While the left side there is the power button / lock and volume. Underneath there is a 40 pin connector for charging and connection to PC for data transfer. The lack of USB ports seem accidental that users purchase additional dock

Once the additional dock bundled with the price range of $ 150 is plugged in, then it turned into a tablet such as Honeycomb Netbook. In this additional dock there is a button along with a full keyboard with a multitouch touch pad. Here also there are 2 USB ports, SD card reader ports & battery separately. Keys of the keyboard feels very good and convenient for use in the long term.

Unfortunately the installation of the tablet to the dock is often quite frustrating .... The absence of markers to align the two separate sections of this makes us have to try-try, yet again to lock into docknya tablets should be given loud enough pressure when still new.

The product is only available in a tablet version of the wifi, so we will not see it offered with 3G features that allow its use in areas without an internet connection from the wifi.

Navigation in the honeycomb which is quite different from previous systems, will create android users who have experienced even takes time to become accustomed. But once mastered, it can be found many advantages to offer exciting new OS.

+ There are speakers built in;
+ There is an option to buy the dock / keyboard enhancements are very exciting, because in addition to enhanced functionality has also added a battery life of 6 hours.

Disadvantages
- Built-in camera is not good. Its 5MP sensor was not functioning as well as expected so it looks much different from that produced by the Galaxy capable Tab 10.1 or the LG Optimus Pad;
- Use the USB mouse is plugged directly into tablets who are not as smoothly as expected, as it seemed no lag. Maybe this will be fixed on the Asus software updates;
- Installation of tablets to docknya somewhat difficult.

CONCLUSION

Breakthrough of the Asus is arguably a non-windows OS tablet first to make use of the netbook eliminated. With a selling price of its offerings more affordable & android 3.0-based tablet then this could be a prime choice for users on entry & mid level.
